Contact information, such as your name, postal address, telephone number, mobile phone number, and email address; Details of the type of property that you are interested in purchasing, Details of how interested you are in making a purchase and when you are looking to buy; Details of your current property status, including whether it has been sold or if it is up for sale and whether or not you are in a chain;
Details of your financial circumstances, such as whether you are a purchasing by way of a mortgage or other means and if you are planning to live in the property or purchasing it as an investment. Details of any additional requirements such as educational or insurance needs or services in relation to relocating.
This will be information provided directly by yourself, verbally, a letter or electronically. We may also receive information via third parties such as solicitors or accountants. We will only share what is required in order to reach your objectives, in order to do this, we need to carry out processing of the data you provide.
Depending on the nature of the enquiry we will share information with 3rd parties such as property developers, solicitors, accountants and financial institutions. The purpose of data sharing is to meet all your objectives be it Property or Financial. Our business partners will be ICO registered, for those that are not we will explain and request that they meet our Privacy policies and use your data accordingly.
We do not undertake any marketing campaigns and we ask all third parties we work with to not do so either, unless requested by our clients. We may collect IP Addresses as part of our internal assessment as to the traffic we receive from Google or Referrals.
You have a right to access all the information that we hold on you. You can do so by sending us an email at info@marcot.net and we wiil provide you with the information within 30 days. You have a right to ask use to correct data that is inaccurate or presented in a misleading way. You have the right to ask us to erase any data that is no longer required for any searches or for old cases that we have carried out
We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.
